A NEW STATE?

      Based on Mayor Levine Cava’s  dead-end meeting with the Gov. DeSantis on Dec, 21, it looks like our tasks are clear: Start a recall movement and establish The Great State Of South Florida. It is obvious that the Governor puts the economy ahead of our lives and we cannot accept the certain catastrophic result of that mentality in the face of a coming year of certain suffering and death. We’re getting rid of Trump. Let DeSantis follow him. 

     North Florida is dramatically different from South Florida culturally and economically. The State of South Florida would the sixteenth most populous in the nation. This not a new idea and others have laid the ground work for it.  Tallahassee sees us only as a piggy bank with no recognition of the demands of the megalopolis that we are. It is time to cut our selves loose and to stop being hamstrung by politicians and judges who have no sympathy for what we hold dear or for the  ecological, financial, social, health, educational, climate and infrastructure issues and challenges we face. We must be free to determine our own fate without having one hand tied behind our backs. Let's at least give ourselves a chance to succeed without the interference of those who cheer us on to failure.
